Authenticator Change

“Intelligent l0gin” apparently, the system is checking that you are consistently coming in from the same IP and then deciding whether to ask for the authenticator or not.

One Response to Authenticator Change

Hmyes. It’s a bit like the bank teller at your local bank, who doesn’t ask you for your passport anymore. It does mean that all the information needed by a hacker is now on the computer again, rather than on a different piece of hardware that the computer itself has no access to. I suppose it depends on just how “Intelligent” the intelligent login is. I hear Vic murmuring here that they are basing it on the IP address. Surely not? I’d quite like a few things in there like MAC address.
